Olumide Odetunde, KTP Associate, Loughborough University
Loughborough University and the Oval Partnership are collaborating on a Knowledge Transfer Partnership project to develop a pedestrian forecasting tool, Re:Place, that will inform planning and design services for urban regeneration, master planning, and aid community engagement.
Olumide, who is our first Innovate UK KTP Associate, qualified as a veterinary surgeon in Nigeria before going on to complete an MSc in Data Science at Loughborough University. Skilled in machine learning and natural language processing, Olumide is now focussing on adding GIS and spatial skills to his repertoire as he works to bring the project to reality.
